OK, here's the scoop.  There are about a million-and-one different ways to wind a humbucker to get a distinctive, satisfying result.  Gibson's original PAF Humbucker is, of course, a classic.  Our "standard" humbucker strives to reproduce those classic tones.  We use 42 awg plain enamel wire, winding the neck humbucker to 7.5 kOhms and the bridge humbucker to 8.4 kOhms.  These humbuckers are available with AlNiCo II, IV or V magnets, and we prefer to utilize open-topped covers
